Operation Santa needs some help
Eagle viewing begins Dec. 26
For close to a quarter century Operation Santa Claus (OSC) has been giving Christmas to Lexington children that otherwise would not get the chance to have it.
This year OSC donations are down as volunteers have only collected about $9,120 as of Friday.
Lexington’s OSC is an organized effort by the Optimist’s Club and various other volunteers.
Families eligible for OSC were selected through an application process, then each qualifying family was then able to shop at the Operation Santa Claus official store at the Lexington United Methodist Church, Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Anyone who has not yet had the chance is invited to make a donation and send it to:
